PT. Citra Karya Nusantara was established in 2011 which is a Joint Venture between PT. Bonded Nusantara and PT. Karya Teknik Utama. Primary business PT. KCN is as inter-island port management (inter) in Marunda. KCN port is also a leading contributor to the port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, to increase the capacity of freight shipments by sea.

PT. Karya Nusantara Citra is already serving various types of cargo ranging from Coal, CPO, Pulp, and so forth. Currently KCN port is also being prepared for the operation area and the dock wider so as to accommodate more ships and cargo

• process handling of coal 

1. Preparation of the fleet in the form of tugboat and barge preparation is carried out by way of checking the readiness of the fleet in the form of aircraft engines and auxiliary engines and navigation tools to function properly in order to make the process barge berthing at the port of loading
2. Preparation barge is to check the cleanliness of the cargo barge avoid contamination of goods such as plastic, paper, iron and other pieces that could lead to contamination of coal that should be neutral from the aforesaid goods.
3. After checking the readiness of the ship and barge berthing barge subsequent process in which the loading port berthing process is aided by the tug assists. Command barge berthing at the port of loading and unloading is done by Master at the port controlled by the Port Captain of PT. KCN  to ensure the process runs safely
4. Process barge berthing at the port of loading is completed, the loading process is then performed using the coal conveyor which directly fit inside the cargo barge. Loading shifting process performed by Masterdan assisted by three (3) the mooring crew. Loading process takes over three hours to complete each barge. Unloading process is completed with a limit on the TF line on plimsolmark that has been set.
5. Once complete, the barge Captain or one of the chief officer reports to radio operation Kelanis to check draff.
6. The calculation of the amount of cargo carried by the surveyor where all the ships and barges in check draffnya after barge complete.
7. Once everything is complete then immediately left the boat jetty for 5 minutes. After the boat left the jetty then another ship docked immediately to perform the next load.

•  Jetty

• Tugboat
